Cling to Inner Peace.

Had a few moments where I thought to myself…

“I just want to treat all the people who treat me like crap, the same way they treat me. I thought, why am I always the only one apologizing? Why am I always the one going out my way to make peace with the ones who’ve hurt me? Why am I always forgiving? Why can’t I just treat others how they treat me? I am sick and tired of being sick and tired.”

Literally, I wanted to retaliate in revenge about a situation but God always stops me. God always reminds me that nothing is ever between me and people. But everything is between me & God.

So to answer some of those questions I was flooded with previously, the answer is, Yes.

Yes, even when people attack against us, we should say to ourselves, “I will not attack back.”

Even if your flesh wants to fight back, learn to pray for the ones who attack you, and then,  pray for yourself. Pray for your own peace. Pray for your own healing.

Learn to love those who come against you on a deeper level.

I don’t say to do these things to  appear as a “perfect Christian” I say these things because love always wins. Love is peace, and love is God.

It takes so much energy hating and plotting revenge. When you come to place of true inner peace with your enemies, you’re showing love to yourself.

Love yourself enough to let go of what you can’t control. We will never ever be able to control other people or their opinions, beliefs, or whether or not  they like you. But you can always control whether or not you want peace and happiness.

Let them talk about you, let them hate you, let them them not believe in you, but don’t give them the power over yourself that you start to do the same thing. Don’t ever grow weary of doing the right thing. Give it to God, and let it go.

“Three things will last forever– faith, hope, and love– and the greatest of these is love.

Dear God,

It’s so easy praying for those I love. But God, teach me to pray for the ones that I don’t know know how to love. Help to learn to pray for the ones that don’t want to pray for me. Help me to pray for the ones who don’t love me back. Help me to pray for the ones who’ve hurt me. May I learn to love like You Jesus. In You Jehovah, is where love and peace lies. In order to experience the highest level of divine peace, I must come to a place where my heart flows from love. Teach me to love like You Jesus, teach me to forgive the ones who aren’t sorry, for when I make true inner peace with my enemies, healing and divine peace awakens. Help me to to look to You Jesus, In Jesus name, Amen.
