31 Day Bible Plan-Covering 3 Books: James, Ruth, and John

Hi, friends!

This month throughout August, it was quite transitional, challenging, and rather stretching for me. In addition to JCCML and creating planners, I’m also a high school teacher. I teach Marketing, Marketing Entrepreneurship, and a new course this year, Business Technology.

Summer felt like it blew pass me. This caused me to enter the school year pretty grouchy. I wasn’t excited about going back because over the course of summer I felt drained from moving, tending to family matters, while trying not to think about how each day passing meant I was getting closer to returning to school.

I needed the Bible. I needed a word. I needed comfort and stability. And just like God, He provided all that. I was led to start the study with the book of James. My interest peaked from James being my father’s name. I was needing comfort and wisdom from my spiritual Father–Jesus. While also feeling led to study from the Book my earthly father is named after. I don’t believe in coincidences, I believe God is far too brilliant and intentional for such a thing. I believe it was Him leading me to this plan and the book of James specifically.

While I felt burnt out before the school year even began, drained, and checked out, God led me to the book of James. The first chapter had the very verse I needed:

Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy.  For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing. -James 1:2-4

Friend, I don’t take that verse lightly. I don’t receive it as a coincidence. I needed a word. I needed comfort. I needed a sign that God was with me. He delivered.

Though I made this Bible Plan for the course of August, this plan is perfect for the course of any 31 days you decide to commit to it.

If you need a word, discernment, comfort, and encouragement, you’ll find it in God’s word.

Here’s the Bible Plan:
