Stop Believing Everything is “Too Good to be True”

Why is it so easy to believe the worst over the best?

How often do we assume something is too good to be true? When something is just going a little “too good”? A little too perfect? A little too real

Friends, I want to encourage you to stop believing something is too good to be true.

When you’re a true prayer warrior, a true warrior for Christ, and most importantly, a true believer in God—some things are simply good because God is simply, GOOD. There’s no catch with God. With God, when He is in the midst of a destiny that He Himself destined to be, there is no hidden catch attached.

He gives goodness because He is love. He allows good things to happen to illustrate His goodness. To illustrate miracles. To reveal His identity and power. God is not like mankind. He doesn’t offer a really great deal with a catch that will harm us later.

Embrace when things are simply good.

If you find yourself in a happy place of your life and it’s feels surreal—embrace it.

Instead of thinking it’s “it’s too good to be true”—why not shift that thinking into… “God, thank you for the divine blessings happening in my life right now. I thank you for blessing me with happiness I can enjoy.”

Friends, I know life has a way of knocking us down and sometimes going left, leaving us battered, weary, and on guard. But God is a good God and wants us to know that He brings  good out of the goodness of who He is. He is love. He is good. He is light. He is joy. He is healing. He is restoration. He brings blessings into our lives that we can embrace.

It’s all about your mindset.

Do you ever think good things could simply be happening simply because God has heard your prayers and is finally saying your time is here? It’s true. Often, we run away from the very things God released to us out of our fear that it must be too good to true that we robe our freedom to enjoy it.

If you’re in a season where it feels overwhelming good, I encourage you to embrace it and thank God for it. Acknowledge that these blessings could be the reality of the prayers you prayed. That simply God just wants to give you the desires of your heart.

The scriptures tell us that God gives us the desires of our hearts to those who place their trust in Him, believe that and don’t scare yourself out of the blessing when the rainbow seasons finally come.

Good things DO happen because God is GOOD. It’s who He is.

How easy it is to believe the worst, make it just as comfortable to believe the best is happening and does happen.

Remember, God does allow us to experience  His promises and happiness while on earth. Happiness isn’t something you have to always suffer to get.

Remind yourself often that you deserve good things, therefore they can come to you!

I’m rooting for you!
