The Importance of the Book of Isaiah:

Isaiah’s ministry was notably long which lasted 60 years. His ministry covered the reign of four kings. Isaiah lived through some dark times during the civil war between Israel and Judah. Isaiah is a great example of using tragedy for God’s trajectory. An example of this is how he used the fall of Israel to teach King Hezekiah to trust in the Lord. Isaiah is a great example that God can use people who appear to be ordinary, to minister to kings or people of high power. Isaiah offered a message of hope and comfort for Judah as they were crumbling. The book of Isaiah is a great reminder that God brings restoration even when we face punishment.

Prayer:

Dear Father,

As we begin 2025, may we begin with You. May we find truth from Your Word. May this study be personal to our own lives. May we stop to ask questions and find meaning. May we not read out of a religious custom, but we read to learn the essence of You better. May I find discernment in Your word. May I make this a lifestyle and not just a monthly challenge. May I be transformed from intimacy with You. May my study turn into worship.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
