WOW! Glory to GOD! 🩷 We’ve made it to the last month of the year!
Let’s end this year with a bang in the BEST way—with GOD! There’s no better way. This month, for 31 days, we will be reading the Book of John!
If you’ve been following along, you know that for the last two months, we’ve been covering the four Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John). Last December of 2023, is when I first began the Bible challenges and we started with Matthew. (This changed my life and elevated my relationship with Christ) now, I give God glory for allowing me to host these challenges for an entire year.
With that being said, follow along with us and join us and hundreds of believers around the world as we study Jesus through the book of John. 🥳
Let’s end this year strong and enter the new year with JESUS!

The Importance of the book of John
My mom told me if I ever want to know Jesus deeply and don’t know where to start in the Bible, to start with Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Last month’s Bible Challenge we read the Book of Luke, which now, our current gospel proceeds with John. Though the book of John is similar to other three gospels (Matthew, Mark, and Luke) John offers his own flavor and account of Jesus’ life. John is known as “the disciple Jesus loved” I believe one of the reasons Jesus loved John deeply was because of John’s faith. While many people were impressed with the many miracles Jesus’ performed, John was more impressed with the meaning behind Jesus’ actions and miracles. The book of John is unique because John’s Gospel records more than one trip to Jerusalem by Jesus. John’s gospel records Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection and closes with some meaningful interactions between Jesus and his disciples.
Prayer for this Challenge
Dear Father,
This is the last month of the year and I want to give you gratitude for allowing me to make it this far. I pray as this year ends, I would seek you deeper than I’ve ever sought. I pray that as I read this month, I would recognize your presence and power. I pray that I would open my heart and soul to being transformed. May I come out different every time I read and learn more about You. May I not take my time reading the Bible as simply a religious custom, instead, may reading my Bible be for my salvation. May what I’m needing and lacking, I find from studying You. May I take everything I learn and apply your wisdom in each day I live. I thank You for your Word; may I not take it for granted. In Jesus’ name, amen.
